0065 Swiftcurrent Creek, Glacier National Park MT
2008. One of the revelations of our first visit to Glacier National Park was the myriad colors of the substrates. When one hears the word "Glacier" one imagines a palette of whites, blacks and greys, but GNP is far from a study in monochromes. The jaspers are rich reds, oranges, yellows, greens and blues and sometimes you lose track and think you are in Utah, not Montana.
